Terms and Conditions for 4 The Love of Cakes Home Bakery

1. Order Placement:

All orders must be placed at least 14 days in advance to ensure availability.
Custom orders require detailed specifications at the time of booking.
Orders are confirmed only after a deposit payment has been received.

2. Payment & Deposits:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your order.
Balance is due on or before pickup/delivery and before the Product leaves the premises.
If paying by cash, correct change is appreciated, as we may not have the exact change on the premises.
If paying by internet transfer, the money needs to hit the account BEFORE the product leaves the premises.
Accepted payment methods: [Cash, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, etc.].

3. Cancellations & Refunds:

Orders canceled at least 15 days before the event will receive a 25% refund (minus deposit).
No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the order date.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an order, a full refund will be issued.

4. Pickup & Delivery:

Orders must be picked up at the scheduled time to ensure freshness.
Delivery is available within 10 miles for a flat fee $25.
We are not responsible for damage to cakes once they leave our premises.

5. Product Quality & Allergies:

All products are made in a home kitchen where nuts, gluten, dairy, and other allergens may be present.
Customers must inform us of any allergies at the time of ordering.
While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.

6. Design & Customization:

We will strive to match the requested designs but slight variations may occur.
Color and design representations may differ due to lighting and ingredient availability.

7. Liability & Disclaimer:

Once an order has been picked up or delivered, we are no longer responsible for its handling or storage.
Cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place and refrigerated if necessary.

Return and Refund Policy

At 4 the Love of Cakes, each creation is custom-made with care in our certified home bakery. To keep things sweet and clear, here's how we handle returns and refunds:

🛍️ All Sales Are Final

Due to the handcrafted, made-to-order nature of our products:

We do not accept returns once items have left the premises.
No refunds will be issued after pickup or delivery.
If a valid issue arises, store credit may be applied toward a future order, at our discretion.

📦 Responsibility After Pickup

We are not responsible for any damage or deterioration to products once they leave our kitchen. Please transport your items with care and follow any storage instructions provided.

🎂 Store Credit Eligibility

In rare circumstances where a concern is reported before pickup or delivery:

Contact us within 12 hours of scheduled delivery or pickup
Provide clear photos and order details
If approved, a store credit will be issued for use on your next purchase
